Expert of Mine Planning Department at the Management Company

Qualification and education

*Mining engineer (open pit mining/underground mining), graduated from a technical University in Australia, Canada, South Africa, the USA or Great Britain (PS. in order of priority)

Obligatory membership in one of ROPO institutions (Recognized Overseas Professional Organizations) as a Competent Person – Ore Reserves estimation at gold deposits

*Regular skills improvement in terms of relevant mining technologies

*Knowledge of Datamine software or other compatible software

Possible experience

*Work as a head of mine planning department (general foreman/mine planer) at mining operations

*Work in mine planning department at a company’s headquarters (Corporate Mine Planer)

*Teaching of mining science, mine planning software and personnel training

*Work as mine planning consultant at a consulting company

* Actual implementation of innovative technologies during open pit and underground ore mining

* Experience in developing countries of CIS, Asia, Africa

* Total practical experience not less than 10 years

Knowledge

*JORC Code or similar codes and their rules, principles, application (MP, RCL, …)

*Phases, processes of mining engineering

*Specific character of mining IT implementation teamwork

* Independent use of specialized software

* Development of long-term, mid-term and short-term mining plans according to JORC

Skills

*Work in implementation groups, adaptation of planning systems from the scratch

*Forming effective production relationship with corporate team, contractors and supervisory state bodies

*Teamwork, exchange of experience

*Ability to generate new ideas re adaptation of mine designing, planning and accounting international systems

*Skills in holding presentations, case studies

*Skills in document workflow and accounting

Duties and conditions

*Methodological tracking of mine planning implementation based on Datamine software

*Consulting services for the Company’s employees re elaboration of short-term, mid-term and long-terms development plans for open-pit and underground mining at the Company’s subsidiaries.
