FULLY QUALIFIED MINING ENGINEER PROFESSIONAL

My candidate is a fully qualified Mining Engineer professional with over 28 yrs exp. in Australian and international open cut mining operations, both metals and coal. This includes steaming and coking coal, gold, copper, magnetite, chrysoprase, limestone, feldspar, silver, zinc, nickel, cobalt, anthracite, molybdenum, projects and mines in Qld, NSW, W.A. Tasmania, as well as PNG, New Zealand, Fiji, Indonesia, Solomon Islands, Argentina, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Lao and China.

He has extensive hands on experience in mine planning and operations, as well as excellent analytical, design, organisational, and management skills, and is recognised as a CP (competent person) under the JORC standards in several areas.

This candidate uses several mine design packages, and is familiar with most industry modelling and planning systems. He specialises in mine planning, operations, and management, with particular emphasis on Project Management, on site operational and planning support, feasibility studies and reserve assessment, whittle pit optimisation, JORC compliance review and due diligence. He is also able to offer mine plan and production audits, mining contract review and assessment, pit and ramp design, short and long term production scheduling, waste dump and water management design, final land form and rehabilitation design as well as mining methods and equipment analysis.

This candidate is currently available to work under a short term contract to provide open cut mine planning assistance to existing mines or new projects.
