MINING ENGINEER AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY FOR SHORT TERM CONTRACT OR OVERSEAS EXPAT ROLES
A fully qualified Mining Engineer with a wide range of local, interstate and international mine planning and operational experience (28 years). This includes steaming & coking coal, gold, copper, magnetite, chrysoprase, limestone, feldspar, silver, zinc, nickel, cobalt, anthracite, molybdenum projects and mines in Queensland, NSW, Western Australia, Tasmania, as well as PNG, New Zealand, Fiji, Indonesia, Solomon Islands, Argentina, Kazakhstan,Serbia, India and China.
- extensive hands-on experience in mine planning and operations, as well as excellent analytical, design, organisational, and management skills.
- recognised as a ”Competent Person” under the JORC standards in several areas.
- holds software licenses and runS several mine design packages,
- familiar with most industry modelling and planning systems.
- specialises in mine planning, operations, and management, with particular emphasis on :
• Project Management
• Onsite operational and planning support
• Feasibility Studies & Reserve Assessment
• Whittle pit optimisation
• JORC compliance review and Due Diligence
• Mine plan & production audits

• Waste dump & water management design
• Final landform & rehabilitation design
• Mining method & equipment analysis
